Vikings Prospect Volleyball Camp

Prospect camp is a 2 day camp designed for Varsity Level High School and Top Club Level Players focusing on technical training and player skill development. Athletes will compete in high level drills and 6-on-6 match play.

Location: Viking Pavilion at Peter W. Stot Center

Lodging / Facilities
The Portland State Volleyball will be housed at the Hotel Zags (515 SW Clay St, Portland, OR 97201).

Camp Highlights

  • Low camper to staff ratio
  • Thorough instruction on all fundamental skills
  • 2 days of instruction, competitions, and 6 vs. 6 play
  • Camp awards given out on final day
  • Camp t-shirt and stickers for all participants
  • All athletes ages 14-18 (who have not begun classes in college) will be eligible to attend

Camp Schedule:

  • Day 1
    • 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. → Check In
    • 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. →  Session 1
    • 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.  → Dinner
    • 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. → Session 2
    • 10:30 p.m. → Lights Out
  • Day 2
    • 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. → Breakfast
    • 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. → Session 3
    • 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. → Lunch
    • 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. → Session 4
    • 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. → Dinner
    • 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. → Session 5
    • 10:30 p.m. → Lights Out
  • Day 3
    • 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. → Breakfast
    • 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. → Session 6
    • 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. → Awards & Check Out

Medical Care
OHSU Hospital is minutes away, if needed. Personal insurance must be provided and arranged for each camper by the camper’s parent or guardian. Please submit copy of insurance card along with camper application.

Payment Information
Online registration requires payment in full. No refunds will be issued.

Gym Sessions
All the gym sessions will take place in the Viking Pavilion in the Peter W. Stott Center

This is a tentative camp schedule. It could change based on number of campers and / or other Portland State Camps using the same dining hall.

Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and / or gender).
